General Information

After lifting the kettle, you may notice moisture on the power base. This is completely normal. It results from steam produced during boiling, which activates the automatic shut-off function and then condenses. The moisture typically escapes through small vents under the kettle.

Overheating Protection

• This kettle is equipped with a built-in safeguard to prevent overheating. If the appliance is switched on without enough water, it will automatically shut off to prevent damage
• Allow the kettle to cool down for at least 10 minutes before refilling and using it again

Cleaning and Maintenance
To ensure your kettle operates safely and efficiently, follow these cleaning instructions:

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning
• Wipe the exterior and interior of the jug with a soft, damp cloth
• Don't immerse the kettle, power base, plug, or cord in water
• Never clean the kettle in a dishwasher
• Take care not to let moisture come into contact with any electrical components
• If discolouration appears inside the jug, clean with a damp cloth and follow descaling instructions below. Rinse thoroughly before use
• Important:
  • Don't use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or sharp tools (such as knives or metal brushes), as these can damage the surface
  • Always ensure the kettle is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down before beginning any cleaning

Descaling

• This kettle features a concealed heating element that resists limescale build-up. However, water conditions and/or water hardness may result in limescale build up and discolouration
• To descale your kettle:
  • Unplug the appliance and let it cool completely
  • Fill the jug with a vinegar solution (or a suitable descaling product) up to the max level and bring it to a boil
  • Let the solution sit in the kettle for a few hours
  • Discard the solution, then fill the kettle with clean water, bring to a boil, and discard the water
  • Repeat the rinse process twice to ensure no residue remains
  • Don't use ammonia, bleach, or harsh chemicals to descale the appliance. Only use white vinegar or a recommended descaling agent
