Sturdy!
I have a few wooden sauté paddles, they're all an even thickness throughout. The handle of one cracked over time. Still usable, but it's days are numbered. This is a perfect replacement and really sturdy. It tapers as it reaches the flat end, which is perfect. It should last a long time. Happy :)
